We are thrilled to welcome Karen Chow, MPAS, PA-C, to the Tottori Allergy and Asthma Associates team! Karen joined us in 2024 as a board-certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and she brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Karen’s journey in healthcare began at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Minor in Psychology in 2019. Her academic path then led her to Touro University Nevada, where she obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) in 2024. Karen is deeply committed to staying at the forefront of allergy and asthma care and regularly attends national conferences, including the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Conference.
Karen’s clinical training spans a broad array of specialties, including Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Emergency Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, Psychiatry, Pain Management, Endocrinology, and Rheumatology. Her comprehensive experience enables her to take a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring each person receives a personalized treatment plan tailored to their specific needs.
Beyond her clinical work, Karen is an active member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Nevada Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. These affiliations reflect her commitment to professional development and the latest advancements in allergy and asthma management.
Outside of work, Karen enjoys exploring new destinations, hiking, and listening to music. She’s also a food enthusiast who loves discovering new restaurants and a board game fan, making her an excellent addition to the team culture here at Tottori Allergy and Asthma.
