As most of you know, our valley’s heavy pollen season has arrived. I often get asked what the typical symptoms patients experience during allergy season. The symptoms may vary for patients, however most people experience a feeling of fatigue, running nose, sneezing, itching and nasal congestion (sinus pain). Allergies may certainly exacerbate other illnesses, such as skin problems, sinus issues, and asthma symptoms.
I highly recommend preventative allergy medications over the next several months, as our allergy season may run until the end of June. Keeps an eye on respiratory conditions, such as coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath, as allergies may exacerbation these symptoms.
As always, I wish you well and good health!!
